Helpdesk

Our helpdesk facility provides rapid desk-based expertise to support programme planning and inform policy. You can use it to help prepare briefings; answer technical enquiries; produce annotated bibliographies; or synthesise material to help you get up to speed with the latest thinking on climate, environment, infrastructure and livelihoods issues.

We run a prepaid service for DFID advisers, providing up to five days support. Please note that we hope to make this service available to organisations other than DFID charged at fixed daily rates. Please email helpdesk@evidenceondemand.org for more information.

For services that require more in-depth investigation we can also help through our consultancy services. It all depends on your specifications and your needs.

To use the service:

  • Complete the form below with your query.
  • Our helpdesk manager will contact you to confirm your query and make sure we understand your requirements.
  • We will agree the best expertise that we have available and work with them to provide a report of our findings for you. This report, or a summary of the report, will be made available on our website.
